Psychological Support There is a close relationship between mind and body, and it is very important for people with AIDS-related lymphoma to maintain their "fight" and will to live. A positive attitude helps them work with the chemotherapy in attempting to cure the lymphoma.
Anything that can be done to maintain this fighting attitude is useful. This might include meditation, prayer, participation in support groups, acupuncture, exercises, talking to a psychologist, psychiatrist, family members or friends and other such endeavors.
